Situated in the residential suburb of Duxberry in Sandton, this extensive house renovation aimed at creating an entirely new aesthetic for this thirty year old home. The brief was to take an existing and somewhat stale house and reinvent it to suite its new occupants. Detailed plasterwork, timber pergolas and large covered patios create a tranquil environment in the hustle and bustle of frenetic Sandton. The entire interior space of this home was redesigned and refinished; original, internal trusses were exposed, windows and doors replaced, bathrooms gutted and customised and a contemporary farmhouse kitchen installed. Internal courtyards in various areas also create a truly indoor/outdoor living experience.
