Set in the Eastern Cape’s Karoo landscape, Vrisch Gewagt Farm’s hundred year old Victorian, Manor House required extensive refurbishment and renovations. This house was intended to be used for guest lodging and, as such, required not only restoration, but additional accommodation as

well as landscaping and full interior design and decor. It was critical to maintain the essence of this

building while upgrading facilities in order to create a luxurious getaway experience. Large, open plan kitchen and dining spaces with captivating views of the Karoo scenery are contrasted with intimate lounge spaces accented by traditional wood-burning fireplaces and eclectic decor.
